ABSTRACT SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Presenting author’s and co-authors’ contact details:
  • Full first and family name(s)
  • Email address
  • Affiliation details: department, institution / hospital, city/ state, Country
Abstract title
  • Written in UPPER CASE 
  • Limited to 25 words
Abstract text
  • Limited to 300 words including acknowledgments.
    ** Word count exclude graphs/tables/ images
Abstract topic
4 topic selections:
  • Gastroenterology
  • Hepatology
  • Nutrition
  • Interdisciplinary
Abstract structure/ template
  • Title – concise
  • Authors and Institution
  • Objectives – state main objective
  • Methods - Study design, brief description
  • Results – present main results
  • Conclusions – state conclusion(s) that is(are) directly supported by the results
  • Keywords - NOT more than 5
  • Tables, Images and Figures - Only one is allowed

  • Max number of 10 columns, 10 rows
    ** No. of words in tables are excluded in word count
Images
  • The maximum file size of each image is 500 KB.
  • The maximum pixel size of the graph/image is 600(w) x 800(h) pixel.
  • Images uploaded in JPG, GIF or PNG format.  
    ** Please Note: images do not affect the word count.
Preferred Presentation type: to be determined by SC

    ** SC will make the final decision after review

REGULATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Before submitting, please ensure the following guidelines are adhered to :

  1. Abbreviations must be defined.
  2. Use generic names of drugs. The presentation must be balanced and contain no commercial or promotional content.
  3. Submissions MUST not contain patient names, hospital ID numbers or other identifying information.
  4. Abstract does not contain spelling, grammatical or scientific errors.
  5. Abstract text, title and the list of authors will be reproduced exactly as submitted.
  6. No proof reading will be done.
  7. No corrections after the submission deadline.
  8. After the deadline, changes will not be possible; this includes changing or adding co-authors.
  9. Abstract reference number will be delivered via email to each participant upon submission.
  10. Abstract number will be used as reference  in all correspondence regarding the abstract.
  11. Dateline for Abstract Submission: 1st May 2024
  12. Notification of acceptance: 6th May 2024 onwards.
  13. Contact information: official congress email address
  14. The presenting author should reply to the acceptance notification for confirmation of attendance
